Too many violations

May 12, 2007 | 20:40

There have already been many electoral violations today. Some political parties are transporting people to polling stations by cars or busesa and that is why there are pile-ups near some polling stations. “Legal State” party is taking the students of Yerevan that are registered in Dilijan to their native city to vote. “United Labor Party” is distributing electoral bribes in the villages of Dilijan city (5000 AMD for one vote). The ARP is giving out electoral bribes in the same region (10-15.000 AMD for one vote). PA and ARF parties have also violated the law. As far as the situaiton in Yerevan is concerned, public transportation is not doing so well because most of the vehicles are working for the parties.
