Medical Treatment: Italian Style

October 14, 2004

Within the framework of an agreement between Armenia and Italy, one hospital from Gyumri, one from Vanadzor and another from Yerevan will be included in the network of Italian clinics. The Ashotsk hospital is already part of the network. Hayk Grigoryan, Chief Administrator of International Relations of the Ministry of Health of the RA, affirms that the money granted for this project (30,560 euros) will be kept in Italy and will be used in Armenia by buying technical equipment like computers. Let’s not forget to mention that the project helps develop forms of dispersing information and through which there will be medical consultations, diagnoses and medical training. The chosen hospitals will be announced at the beginning of November. Competition between hospitals will be on a large scale.
